2.30 aedt, throw down, SEM v United

Two sides coming off bad losses, again and not in my words but Bogut, where do you hide Hurt on D and Sobey to an extent. Both scorers but got be better on D. United has also had D problems of late and won't win a shoot out with out Goulding. Vickerman should get White back to four as he’s no three. SEM home game should give them the edge, certainly if it’s a high scoring game. Just hoping for a great contest as the round so far has been average.

SEM can't do any fundamental things, no box outs, can’t play D, Lewis is there best so far, Sobey horrible and Hurt can’t play D, they should raid a few more kings guys, Hunter and Glover at least do the fundamentals.

24-36 at quarter to United, what ever Vickerman said has worked, back to solid D , passing to create space for open shots, all with out White because of two early fouls.

If Sobey would just play team, he could be useful, it's his selfishness that hurts him. SEM just don’t look happy as a team but lot better at present.

If Phoenix want a chance to make the top 6 they need to replace Walton yesterday. Plays so slow, ball stopper, no defense.

This Joel Peterson guy is unbearable, what are the NBL doing having him on their flagship FTA games?

51-59 to United, good game, Hunter and Hurt been good, Walton jnr shaky, Sobey good and bad. Lewis there best. United let it slip a bit, White been average, form slump at present. Delly, Illi and Aliir. Free throws clearly in favour of SEM. Neither side playing great D after united looked good early.

In saying that Von Hofe needs to dial it back down to 10, way too pumped up. Scare the kids carrying on like a lunatic.

Akech Aliir couldn't even get on the court with the 36ers last season now having double figure scoring games at United this season, SMH.

As I said previously, Sobey can be fantastic but he's got play with his team, when he does that he’s a weapon. SEM by 4 at 3/4, great game. King could be very good when he puts his own team together, as Gaze said they are short a big. Hunter been superb, Walton jnr getting better. Illi and Delly best for United

SEM were right to live with Hurts defensive issues because he's elite at the offensive end

Hunter on the bench and Hurt D been shown up for what it is woeful, Copeland loves him because he scores a nd plays D like he did himself, minimal.

Delly milked that foul on Hunter, just stepped in front and hit the deck, refs fell for it.

This game is good to watch - both going at it.

MU deeper reckon Cameron, Ili , Clark will bring them home.

Sobey does not play team ball....getting bailed out by others on his team.

Masterclass from Sobey at both ends, still a special player.

If SEM don't pick up their option on him next season I hope the Sixers make him a good offer to bring him back 'home'.

SEM starting five plus Walton jnr fantastic, cameo from Foxwell and Wieskamp. United struggling without Goulding and Lee. White hasn't been good since the hamstring injury. Loe does not like bigs standing up to him and when his shot is missing he’s average.

United outrebounded 94-63 across 2 games this weekend and had 215 points scored against them, 170 of which came from inside the 3 point line.

They need Marcus Lee back asap. Without him they're in big trouble. CG43 would help too but it's been Lee's absence that's been obvious.

And yeah, agree with above comment- Jack White not bringing his usual energy, whether it's an injury hangover, not sure but this weekend was possibly his worst 1 games of the season.

Better for MU to be having these injuries and form slump now rather than in the post season. Great win for SEM and their fans. Could really feel the jubilation through the broadcast. And Burgers as well! Word14, if the JJs get through to the play offs then yes they are built to win with their D. The other problem is that Roth figures other teams out the more he sees them. Will be very interesting later in the regular season when the Hawks, Cats, SEM and Bullets travel to MSBA and we get to see the clash of styles and which prevails. Cats and Bryce were just off the planet the other night.

Just threw up in my mouth a bit about the comment of Sobey coming "home" to Adelaide. Can you imagine a backcourt of him and DJ? Maybe the worst shot selection backcourt of all time.

Ha Sobes would keep DJ in line. The problem though is who would keep Sobey in line? Sack Wells and bring back Joey and we're good!
