Perth @ Cairns 14/12

Does anyone give Cairns any chance at all?

Stith and Waardenburg both joining Gak on the never-ending injured list. Going to put a lot of pressure on Groves to stay on court, but that might affect his impact.

I'd like to be positive, but Cairns will need so much to go their way to have any chance. Unless Cotton slips on a banana skin at breakfast, I can't see it happening.

I'll give cairns a sliver of a chance simply because I think they have to win a game again at some point. Tonight's probably not the night though

Everyone has a chance against the Wildcats. We can score triple digits with Bryce getting 40 at an efficient clip, and still lose. So just go for it, snakes. Play some good D and you're in with a shot.

Well taipans supporters will be happy but I'm not giving them any chance, I could see this blow out to 25 plus. My tipping then makes Cairns certainty. lol.

Cotton to go troppo in the tropics but snakes are still a chance if Rillies "attention to detail", "fine-tuning" and "desire to rebound" often mentioned in the post game pressers are forgotten again at tip off. Cats by close to 20

Not entirely relevant to this thread but earlier today Michael Randall reported cairns offered Roman Siulepa a contract and he said no, could be a further indication of his intent to pursue rugby

Taipans have a shot because we've always struggled up in Cairns for whatever reason.

Armstrong looks a far better prospect than Giddey, wonderful player. Some of the refs calls are so soft, Edwards chucking his head back doesn't make it a foul.

Lol with that call we can confirm that Cairns are getting a gift from the ref's here. What a disgrace

I'm sure Blackmores are happy with players slipping on their logo

Not a lot D by either team, Cairns have been far better than I gave them credit for. Ok game, very soft, and quiet a few calls to both sides been soft. Cats will probably play finals but can't see them lasting long.

Well it's back to twenty plus loss for taipans, to many dumb players starting with Edwards. Armstrong is class, even Forde lost plot at end quarter with some very average subs. Coaches who think you can win games by just chucking up threes had better have some defensive fortitude players. Cairns don’t have that.

Edwards was so overhyped by the media when he got here, just so iso non D player. Forde got explain how he put this team together. So short of talent after Armstrong, Waardenburg. Yes it's a cheap roster but some are so overpaid, there not nbl1 players.

Unless perths defence miraculously impress don't see them wining it but with Cotton anything is possible. He is playing NBA star level basketball

Congratulations also to Mr Cotton, the mystro of the nbl. Between him, PJC and Davis, three of the best guards.

Without knowing, looks like a 32 year old with one last shot at the NBA showing the teams reportedly interested that he is their man and can really light it up. Has gone to another level even for Bryce.

Great game by Jesse to get Bryce rolling and turn the momentum around.

Since the annual reffing tighten up around the FIBA break to clean up a lot of the holding, Cotton has just thrived with the freedom of movement he's getting. He is a freak when given space to operate in.

Also interesting none of the teams he's faced have had a real 'Cotton plan' to make someone else beat them. He may still go off but make him get rid of the ball repeatedly.

Next three games are against Illawarra, Adelaide and NZ, the three he just scored 40+ on, will tell a story about those coaches seeing what adjustments they make.

Keeping starters in up 25+ in 4th sure was interesting.
Stat padding vs risk for injury?
Guess its lose lose for Rillie

The universe is gifted to have BC. More reason he must remain a Wzildcat for life. Nothing g complains and with jesse as his shadow.. challenge and again cats withstood.. westward onwards upwards..bigger things are coming..
