Hunter on Harrison, Sobey against his old team and a last start good game, which Bateman turns up. Glover v Cook both in good form. SEM probably more depth that could prove decisive at the end. Bullets starting five has been very good, bench shallow but if starters stay out foul trouble and play limited minutes ok. They look less stagnant without Bannen and when fit should come off the bench. Harrison and Cook great all game, Prather and Bateman good in second half , Smith-Milner service able as was Norton. The rest just did enough to help out. Possibly a chance of the six if they can keep it rolling.

SEM second half deplorable, Hurt 27 points, minus 15 when on the floor, Sobey 27 points, minus 20 when on the floor, both played over 32 minutes. Glover minus 7 in 31 minutes. Foxwell plus four in 20 minutes. Hunter zero in 21 minutes, Lewis plus 2 in thirty minutes. Those stats alone tell you all you need to know, Hurt and Sobey don't play D. Bogut said at start, where you going to hide Hurt, opposing coaches know it. SEM might make six but troubling no one. SEM will probably miss out. If not them, who else? Cairns and NZ are definitely out of it, but the rest are all decent. You have JJs, who might just make it thanks to their D, and Adelaide, who can look very good at full strength, and Perth who have Cotton. SEM might find themselves falling just a little short by comparison to all of these teams.

Commentary was great, when Bogut talks all listen, no interruptions and talking crap, Rucker and Prather on sideline also very good. It's is nice to hear knowledgeable comments.

Most pleasing is that all three imports are finally scoring at a high rate consistently. Harrison is showing his pre-season form with another double-double (23 at 76% and 12 rbs) and the W's are adding up for the team.

Sydney, on Sunday, might bring me back to earth. If the Bullets can play like this again, will be a great contest, win or lose. Would love it to be another W for the Bullets but a good contest is the main thing.
