Melbourne v Brisbane 2.30 AEDT

Prather against one of his old teams, he's in good form but he’ll need to beat Cotton record for Brisbane to win this and Melbourne play D so it ain’t happening. United by at least ten.

United by 15. Anything less would be a surprise.

Never noticed before how Batemon shoots his FTs from slightly off to one side

Not a lot of D being played by either side.

Interesting how no one bothers defending in this league anymore. It's so easy to score in every game now.

Maybe Tasmania still plays some D, but that’s only because they can’t score at the other end so they have no choice. Melbourne is one of the few that can defend, but they’re obviously getting complacent in their winning run.

MU sitting in 2nd gear and still hanging with Brissy's best shot ATM.

Good game if a little soft for my liking. Is it that the game is played so fast that teams struggle getting back on D ?

Unfortunately the NBL is becoming more unwatachable as time goes on. It's in a weird hybrid stage these days half up tempo NBA style half Euro half-court style. It will go full no defence NBA style eventually.

Real happy coaches getting called for techs. Vickerman should have been double teched there.

I like to see a bit of up-tempo as well as a bit of strategic stuff.

Smith-Milner becoming a very good bench player. Rocko is looking more Vandenburg than Bogut.

Hopefully a good finish coming here. Roth sides can strangle the run and gun, he sets up his team to their strengths. Goorj can make it a stranglehold as well.

Good call, Illi looked like an Olympic diver and yes it was a tough foul. A proposal at the basketball.

I think Ili has wrapped up the Oscar for the season. (Sorry, Sobey.) You can shut down the betting on that one.

As for the flop warning on a significant push-off ... smh

Great win, bullets looking good, congratulations to Scheuler. Four players 25 points or more. The imports all good but for me Harrison was huge. Goulding is certainly missed in these close games and maybe there D isn't as good most think. I agree Illi can flop with the best of them.

Been sticking up for the Bullets and finally they played like I thought/hoped they could. Today they did it. Bullets' other wins this season have either been ignored or excused (as in some one was missing/sick/dead on the opposition). This game, Goulding was missing for MU and that is a big out. This season Macdaniel is missing for Bullets, not a Goulding, I concede, but still hurts your season when that calibre of player, and especially his D, are missing. The big disappointment for me is that the bench scored just 7pts(SmithMilner).

Hope we can get that sort of performance some more this season. Never too late!

Nothing to do with the game but JLA signed in Turkey, top division but side running last so probably on very good pay packet as to avoid relegation. A bit of United news folks.

That's great news re JLA for Bullets fans (& the rest of the league). Good luck over there. Hope you are a big success in Turkey. See you back here in a few years!
