JJs vs Taipans 5/12/24 7:30pm aedt

Jackies looking for 4 straight wins, Taipans looking for a first win in 2 months. Tassie at full strength with Crawford back from concussion, Taipans get Bradshaw and Galloway back but without Gak. JJs by 12 in my opinion

Last Chance Saloon for the Taipans if it isn't already too late. Pretty much must win weekend for them to even have a remote chance of making a late run.

Pedro back should at least be some improvement in the output from Taylor. Galloway back is also a positive but now ANOTHER long term injury (this time Gak) to deal with. Going to need big games from Waardenburg, Groves, Edwards and Armstrong.

Wishful thinking, but really hoping they can put it all together.

I'm not seeing JJs let this slip, taipans a lot stronger re returning players but will lack match fitness. Armstrong playing in his home state could lift and make it interesting though. JJs D will just be to strong and they have better imports. JJs by eight.

Armstrong seems to go to another level when he plays the JJs. Taipans also have a good record at MSBA from memory. Wouldn't be surprised if this is very close for a long way especially if Edward can find his range.

Magnay hooking Armstrong, no call, Groves touches Magnay, foul.

Cairns back in a very high scoring game, Armstrong and Doyle shooting the lights out. Waardenburg doesn't look good on the bench, back injury, Groves on two fouls could hurt.

Agreed, particularly with no Gak as backup. Magnay could have a field day.

Seems ridiculous that this is only the second game this year Cairns have had their full strength starting 5.

Seems the refs all have new whistles again and keen to make sure they work properly.

Really good game. Cairns need to improve their rebounding but right in it atm.

Magnay kicking signs, not certain how they did not call foul there.

They are just not deep enough cairns, very good effort. JJs are marching, unbeatable in Hobart and there so team oriented. Good game though.

Perthworld, was Scott Roth pumping up Armstrong in the presser the bat signal? Acknowledged him as they came off the floor too and there was a fair bit going on between Armstrong and the JJs bench during the game as well. Just imagine him and MacDonald switching through the point and the 2 with Doyle. Could well be NBA bound anyway. Is a very special player.

Forde looking like he hasn't slept in a while in the press conference, so much black under his eyes, it’s a tough gig.

Noticed that as well Dunkman, the losses must be starting to wear on the group, hope they can pick up some wins soon
