In the girls great representation from Vic and QLD. 2 from TAS but only 1 from NSW?? NSW Previously 6 girls in '24, 6 in ‘23, 4 in ‘22 and 6 in ‘21. For a state that has had a couple gold in the past few years what's happening.

That was a strong 07 group from nsw, 08 and 09 not as deep.
Juffermans + Halwala are 2 others from nsw not on the list.

NSW program dropping off and quality of Coaches has dropped.

You may not be a good coach but they will accept you to help and they cannot provide quality teaching of the Athletes.

Program has changed over the years and not for the good.

O.Olechnowicz, J.Sherrington, J.Nyankiir Manyok, A.Crase are the others I know of.

More scholarships will be offered in 2025, as some players have turned down the CoE.

Lehmann is going home.

I heard M Ryan had knocked back the CoE, for 2025 at least.

Might be slightly off topic- I've seen some COE players go on to represent the Opals, while u23, however have any of them who then went to college represented the Opals while at college?

Some players whilst at college have represented the opals.
Amoore and Shelley are 2 recent examples. Friendlies + Asia Cup.

I doubt anyone currently in college has a shot though for next years asia cup.
Amoore should not be selected over Reid, Rocci and Heal. Melbourne>wnba.

Some good players in that group but also some that could have been looked at a bit more before given a scholarship.
