youtuber with aussie nba highlights? gone?
Hi, long shot maybe. There was someone making full highlight clips of our aussies in the NBA. All shot attempts/misses not just the super short highlight. Meant you got a good look at our guys on limited mins and if they shot under pressure etc. Was truly amazing! Instead of watching full games you got full coverage of our guys [and girls, he did some wnba too].
I followed them on youtube and instagram. Saw a post during a busy day where they said they had copyright strikes on them from espn [australia?] and had to call it quits. I then saw on the next oz espn player highlights folks calling them out and saying they should hire the other guy.
I cannot remember their name - unsure if both youtube AND insta accounts were deleted. I just wish i had a chance to read it in full and also to msg and show support for their efforts as I loved it. As everything was saved on my accounts - like a phone number i cannot for the life of me remember their actual name - they just appeared in my algorithm.
Also - how does ChazNBA with 411K subscribers and 1.5K videos [also btw an aussie!] post nearly 3min raw clips from broadcasts and not get struck? Sometimes he has a voiceover to explain and maybe thats transformative enough / commentary on the content. But 90% of the time its just raw even from inside nba/tnt. I understand copyright law a little bit as part of my job so wanted to dig deeper with our guy doin the lords work but being sidelined. My guess is that using the oz espn feed got struck but if they used nba tv/other maybe would get around it like chaz has managed to do.
