Great game so far should go doen to the wire. Doolittle without being a hero is so damn tuff love it!

Not sure United can maintain that uncharacteristically low standard of D for much longer, but I hope they give it a crack.

Also, Almansa >>> Baumgartel
That's my astute observation of the day

51-65 to cats, very high scoring, great game. Doolittle and Almansa been great for cats. Illi and White holding cats in defensively.

Clamped us to a meagre 65 that half

Back to mute.

Todd Withers fighting over screens trying to stay with Goulding whilst Keanu Pinder sits 5 metres off the screener and watches on... wtf is he doing?! Can understand why he is in Rillie's dog house.

I don't understand the inconsistency. Reasonable number of fouls in both quarters then they just put the whistles away (for both sides)?

A couple of minutes from Jesse to try and settle them down on offense would be nice.

Gaze nailed it, it's give to a player and watch him be a star (hopefully)

Henshal has got a bit Goulding in him, plays D like a young Goulding as well, got improve that.

It amazes me that defenders are allowed to push their opponents in the back as they come to receive the ball or approach a screen.

Seems dangerous.

Vintage Goulding, amazing shooting display, full of confidence even with White out. Cats just couldn't stop him, Henshall and Pepper will learn from that performance.

Perth are close to a good side got get more out Windler on offence. Cats can probably think they let it slip but Goulding in that form is unstoppable, he's an absolute gun, his defence is also a lot better than when he was a youngster.

Fillies never got the team to regroup after that 3rd quarter. Gaze called it, they just kept giving it to players and hoping that person would create it all by himself. That worked in the first half but they looked tired and faulted in the second.
There seemed to be no plan b for an easier shot.

When Goulding first started going off, I'd just try and make him defend as much as possible to try and break his rhythm or tire him some.

I'm not a coach however have better defensive schemes to not blow a double digit lead?

Post above breaks it down well regarding how the jungleball approach went wrong.

Understand your point but I disagree.
The damage was done across 3 decisive minutes and most of Perth made numerous errors offensively with poor shot selection and 3 stupid turnovers. At the other end Goulding piled on 20 points, 7 makes on only 8 shots with all but 1 of them being contested. It was individual brilliance we rarely see in this league. Not many defensive schemes are stopping someone that hot so you can't blame Rillie.

That's fair.

Poor shot selection and turnovers (jungle balling it) have also been a hallmark under Rillie.
