Adelaide v Cairns 7.30 aedt.

Sixers should keep going towards playoffs, just can't see taipans get close unless Sixers go to iso. Sixers by 15 plus.

Cairns undermanned again with Armstrong and Groves both out.

Gak and Waardenburg in for a tough night defensively trying to contain Adelaide bigs. Think Cairns will need to get hot from deep to have any sort of chance unfortunately.

Last week Adelaide got lucky Tasmania played a few days before against Sydney and were tired.

Adelaide should win this due to the outs but they will need to play better basketball to get it done. They will also need to be able to contain Edwards

Snakes no chance without Taran.

I think the Sixers will play better without Isaac. Less mouths to feed theory.

Sixers by 15.

DJV trying too hard to get going early, hit a nice first shot of an inbound screen, but forced a couple more shots after that.

Don't mind Lat/Dech as a combo, think they switch much better on the perimeter than other combos we've used so far this season.

Sixers playing like it's going to be easy. Commentary getting excited about a dunk that was so low, the ring D was excellent.

Do Adelaide just get torched from deep every game or do they just not defend the 3 ball well enough? Feels like this has been happening forever.

Can't understand the lack of pace or urgency. Just starting games with no energy.

That was one of the s***tiest offensive possessions I've seen. Throws the ball into the back of Mayen's head who just kinda stands there not knowing what to do, gives it to DJ who heaves up a shot hoping to get a whistle and it somehow goes in.

Sixers went away from what got them back into it to end that quarter, but good effort overall. Played solid D and let their offensive come off that, rather than a stodgy half court game where they were jacking up bad shots.

Trez quickly heading towards MVP favouritism, if his trajectory continue.

Makes me wonder how such a dysfunctional franchise can secure three gun imports, whilst Brisbane gets theirs from The Dollar Shop.

Someone needs to tell Davis to get over half way line faster. Very lineball but I reckon refs have missed about 4-5 backcourt 8 sec violations on him in last two games.

Davis and DJ a combined 3-19 from deep. Ouch. Yet somehow managed to still win as Cairns 3's dried up in second half. Cairns 20 turnovers to 4. Ouch.

Harrell is such a team player above all his other attributes, really good to watch. Some big euro clubs will be watching Davis, full package player. Cairns a little unlucky but good sides manage to win games when they don't have their best day as Sixers today. It would be nice if Cairns could get a few more decent locals, it’s hard when you have to recycle players like Adnam etc.

Sixers were consistent across the 4 qtrs, scoring 21, 22, 22, 23 and then 11 in OT. Cairns 27, 32 before dropping right off with 14, 15.. Davis brilliant last qtr and OT.
