Bullets close to naming McDaniel replacement

Ch10 News just ran a Bullets piece.

Said the Bullets were close to naming a replacement for McDaniel, who's out for the season.

Reporting seemed a little wonky. Said the Bullets were chasing a non-import guard who could shoot and defend, but then said Brisbane were closely monitoring NBA cuts for the replacement. Think it was also mentioned they were keeping their current import trio.

Anyone heard names?

While Naar is an excellent distributor of the ball and can really organise a team, he's not known for his D. In all that he’s probably as good a local that’s available. They should try get Ben Ayre from SEM, he’s not getting time there till today.

I was a little surprised how cairns didn't take him after his nbl1 season, certainly with Armstrong injury, better than Adnam to imo, Dufelmeir.

I haven't heard jack, but Naar would be an underwhelming signing. Which suits Brisbane.

I tell you what Naar can do, it's being able to pass the ball to Rocco and direct the team, he’s a better player than White who’s on their roster already.
