Concussion is sport policy

Basketball Australia says children should not return for 14 days after a concussion. Appears this aligns with AIS position.

Seems like most associations adopt the BA position. In its VJBL policy adopted last year, Basketball Victoria says 7 days.

What are associations supposed to enforce?

Neither policy is supported by any up to date research on concussion anyway, so I'm not sure that there's a "right" answer in this instance.

Agree with Chewy2316, there isn't a right answer for this. BV have gone with a minimum of 7 day approach but I think it depends on the severity of the concussion. Return to Sport following a concussion should always get signed off by the doctor first.
