It seems Coburg really has smashed it this year in YL1M. Close to relegation last year and now with a top-4 finish. Fantastic work!

I think in the championship women you would have to call out Bellarine as a significant improver

I don't do much work on the women's side so best that I son't share any opinions as they would probably completely wrong lol.

Champ Men:

Winners -
Keysborough: Not expected to be this good given roster
Bellarine: Since they got out of the relegation zone from last year. They got a much better import which helps.

Losers -
Western Port: Still just a terrible team with apparently lots of internal issues.
Camberwell: They just keep getting worse.
Sunbury: While doing better than expected they have gotten a lot worse, with 4 of their 5 starters leaving from the past 2 seasons. They are in a rebuilding phase in Champ which is not what you'd want.

Div 1 Men:

Winners -
RMIT: Got even better from last year even with all injuries throughout the season and look to be favourites to win.
Whittlesea: The second most dominant team, and given injuries have been impressive to come from div 2 and do what they've done.

Losers -
Warrnambool: A really young team this season, with Gynes retiring they got a lot worse and are set for relegation.
Warrandyte: Rumours are they have one of the most expensive rosters in Big V and they are going to finish bottom 3.
Bulleen: While making playoffs, They also spent a lot of money, while having some injuries, they haven't been able to put it together and were expected to be top 2 at the start of the year with RMIT.

Div 2 Men:

Winners -
Craigieburn: Massive roster improvement, considering they were towards the bottom last year they have killed it.
Surf Coast: Second most dominant team, improved and look very strong and dangerous heading into finals, I believe they beat Craigieburn in the head to head too.

Losers -
Collingwood: While their roster is always changing, they have to be a contender with the amount of talent they have, just hasn't come together for them.
Wallan: From being top 3 to bottom 2, not good at all.

Well, well, well.Rr is obviously in deep pain but it must be said that the biggest loser is the old family club.totally in disarray.leaving big v altogether.
Extremely sad, but, this is what happens when you let peanuts run the show.
