NBA coach visit to Adelaide - July 28th
Hi Folks,
Places are filling up fast at the CLF Basketball Camp featuring guest coach, Utah Jazz Assistant Coach, Evan Bradds. This camp is a unique opportunity for South Australian players to work first hand with one of the top player development coaches in the NBA!
Coach Bradds currently overseas the Player Development Program for the Utah Jazz. Prior to his time in Utah, Evan was an Assistant Coach for four years with the Boston Celtics working with All-NBA players like Jayson Tatum, Kyrie Irving and Jaylen Brown.
Topics covered at the CLF Basketball Camp:
- Ball Handling and NBA dribble moves
- Creative finishing for the pro level.
- Shooting mechanics, game shooting and shot selection
- How to be an elite 1v1 defender
- Advantage based offence: how to create, keep and use advantages.
- Creating advantages in the PNR (U14 & U16/18 camps)
- Defending and navigating through screens (U14 & U16/18 camps)
The CLF basketball camp will be held Sunday July 28th at the State Basketball Centre, Wayville. There are three camp options:
Session 1
U12s - Players born 2013, 2014
11:30am - 1:30pm
Session 2
U14s - Players born 2012, 2011
2pm – 4pm
Session 3
U16s/U18s – Players born 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007
4:30pm – 6:30pm
Spaces are limited to ensure participants get maximum time on court, as well as, personal attention from our coaches.
