Sydney are bringing back Jaylen Adams on a new 1 year deal. Too early to call a Kings vs JJs final?

A little bit surprised. Kings must be confident that last year's performance had more to do with the coach than it did Adams... They are probably right, although he looked about 70% match fitness for most of the season.

Surprised by this signing,with Adams track record of only being able to play under Chase Burford & with the unrest off last year
Doesn't seem to be a Goorjian team player & his defence is average. Time will tell but wouldn’t be surprised if he gets moved on before the end of the season

PG: Adams/Izzy/Bruce
SG: Kuol/Robertson/Malauch (maybe not in that order, depending on how ready Robertson is)
SF: Toohey/Leaupepe/Malauch (maybe not in that order, depending on how ready Leaupepe is)
PF: Cooks/Noi
C: Oliver/Noi/Spurgin

Kings will be hoping Izzy/Kuol uplifts the backcourt D (and it should if Kuol can avoid picking up 3 fouls in the first half more often than not). Really small overall though, especially on the bench. Cooks helps with his ability to rebound+block shots, but that's the Achiles' heel assuming Spurgin isn't ready.

One local spot left which I assume would need to be a 4/5 given the amount of guards/wings we have, but no one springs to mind as a realistic signing who would add size and be able to play minutes immediately.

Goorj is going to have to be at his best, nice squad but small, Noi in the five I just don't see. There a few foul prone players there. JJs and even cats got this team.
