On the SEM Tasmania radio broadcast recently Lima Santamaria was introduced as the architect of the NBL Next Stars program. While I understand he is the current CEO of the program can he be considered the architect or did someone else do all the groundwork only to be now conveniently forgotten?

The originators of the system are Joey Wright and the 36ers amongst others with Terrence Ferguson. NBL took the idea and made the NextStar a non import position .

The Next Stars is an exact copy of what Joey and the 36ers did. LK and co had no idea High School kids could be monetised like they are doing now.
It's not unique it's not novel. It only exists because of what was done in Adelaide.
