This could change as the 4th team, especially on the girls side often gets an invite.
I streamed quite a few of the U18 finals.
Central Lions on the boys side are super athletic and could pose some problems for the Victorian teams. I don't think the others will finish in the top 8.
I was a little surprised to see South Adelaide finish outside the top 4.
Forestville look too small to feature for medals at NJC imo.
No real surprises on the girls side. Talent got Forestville across the line. They came from behind in the semi to beat a West Adelaide team full of battlers (no Hodges or Thompson). West had the game plan right, scrapped it up and played very physical. However it back fired and looked like they finished the last few minutes with 4 players.
Expecting Forestville to feature heavily in the medal rounds. West Adelaide might be the favourite for NJC as Hodges and Thompson will return and Lehmann expected to suit.
U18 competition will be interesting to see who send a team and who of the Sapphires are missing prior to the World Cup.
