If Simmons had made Boomers I honestly think Brian would have put him, Giddey and Thybulle on the court at the same time. At least that charade is over.
Unless Nets find a unhappy superstar and package him with Suns he'll finish his career in Brooklyn. Even as a minimum contract, who would want him with his injury history. Maybe Phoenix could make a huge gamble, would be a good fit if Nurkic goes to bench. And ironically if it works those Suns picks become a lot less valuable.
Or maybe Hawks could take him as salary for Trae.
