Is this a fair representation of where clubs are at this time? Is this similar to last year's finishes in Division One - is the two-year cycle of bottom/top age the same? (I really should look it up myself, but thanks to those who are inclined to do it; it is very interesting to see)

If it is fair, such a shame that Sturt has fallen - it sticks in my mind having the most unsuccessful State Champs in about 25 years in 2023. On the plus - the new GM looks like a gun so hopes are high for a revival in fortunes.

On another positive - competition is good for everyone and well done to those clubs that have climbed the ladder of success (South mostly).

Interesting but read into this at one's own peril Besides the fact the numbers are wrong, it is just a pre season for the Div 1/2. Players have been away at School Champs, clubs have players missing having gone on school tours of the USA, players missing because of school end of year events, plus most teams if they have a player with any small injury niggle they just pull them and say it's not worth it for pre season games worth nothing, they are just practice games and are used as such to try different plays, structures and players from 2's coming up etc No Championship is won in the pre season. A couple clubs play them as if it is for sheep stations. What we have seen is a pretty even competition across the ages, an occasional blow outs, often because of the above, often with games that could have gone either way. Should be an interesting Champs season, can't wait!

Didn't BSA decree a few years back that to compete in NBL1, clubs would have to field competitive teams in all div 1 competitions, mainly aimed at Woodville and Central's girls?

Hearing on weekend that all clubs are about there now. Centrals are now Div 1 in Each age group, might only be Woodville with 1 and Southern with 1. That's a pretty vast improvement over previous

expect Forestville and Woodville boys to improve - yes woodville and centrals girls better.

IMO you will see these results reflect into the main season with no dramatic changes.

I'm not sure where you got those Top 4 results but i was pretty sure that Woodville’s Div 1 U18 boys finished 3rd in that comp, Correct?
