Kings @ Hawks, Nov 3

Kings need to get some momentum after being average the last few games.

Galloway out for at least another week.

Hawks a real chance if the Kings continue to miss wide open 3s like the last 2 games.

Good game both sides playing at top speed. Hawks miss to many easy shots.

Illawarra having a go, just not that smart as a team, also miss so many easy shots.

Well that having a go did not last long, Jackomanas must have the worst winning record in nbl history. Hawks got some good players but nothing seems to work. Froling so overrated imo.
Kings just keep rolling, Maluack an absolute find. Strong all over the board, top four side.

Where to for Illawarra now.

Harvey is just not a great import to lock in with long term.

Tyler Harvey pretty much turned to shit when the Hawks re-signed him to this 3 year deal.

20-21: 20ppg @ 41.6% (37.9% 3p), 3.6r, 3.0a, 1.5s

Since:

21-22: 16.1ppg @ 40.5% (32.2% 3p), 3.4r, 3.2a, 1.7s

22-23: 18.9ppg @ 39.3% (38% 3p), 2.3r, 1.9a, 1.5s

23-24: 14.4ppg @ 37% (32.1% 3p), 1.5r, 1.9a, 0.6s

I think the Hawks will be glad to see the back of him at the end of the season.

Move him to the bench for a few games to see if that lifts his performance?

I'd be starting Olbrich either at the 4 or 5, what was the point of signing Blanchfield, either play him decent minutes or none at all. Shorten the roster.
Lee
Robinson
Clarke
Olbrich
Froling
Swaka
Johnson
Grida.

"Tyler Harvey pretty much turned to shit when the Hawks re-signed him to this 3 year deal."

After struggling the first seven games of last season, Harvey averaged 20.9ppg at 41% from long range in his last 20. He was fantastic on a team with bugger all other options, carrying the offence despite oppo teams targeting him heavily pretty much every night.

Fair to say the Hawks desperately need a similar turnaround from him this season.

Harvey's contract has hamstrung the Hawks to a certain extent.

Illawarra should’ve gone Norton instead of Blanchfield to balance the roster.
