thedoctor rolls ankle.
With just over 24 hours until the 3 on 3 Battle against the Seals, defensive lock down and hook shot specialist "thedoctor" has rolled his ankle in a "district" competition, one the PRP had been using as training for the 3 on 3 Battle.
"Yeah, I probably should have stayed off it, but I wanted to get a few extra sessions in before the game. In hindsight, I see it was a poor decision." thedoctor was quoted as saying.
In scenes reminiscent of Michael Jordan playing with the flu, Larry Bird playing with a broken cheek bone and Jerry Dennard playing despite a lack of talent, thedoctor has vowed to play tomorrow night and will give 100%.
"It's just an ankle, you know? It's not about me anymore, it's bigger than that. It's about Reesy, the all-star game...it's about the fans...it's about the game."
When asked to elaborate, thedoctor was whisked away by minders into a waiting VK Commodore.
The Battle begins at 6pm tomorrow night.
