NBL Store selling Robert Franks 23/24 jersey

https://www.nblstore.com.au/collections/adults-jerseys/products/adelaide-36ers-23-24-home-jersey-robert-franks

Does this become a collectors' item? A novelty? Does this not sell? Which NBL employee decided it was a good idea to make hundreds of jerseys for a player who was released weeks ago?

PyroCross the jerseys are blank. Once an order comes in they then put the letters and number on. For more popular players they probably have some ready to go but not Franks

There is zero chance that's true. The only reason they'd be selling Franks jerseys is because they have stock of them.

Yeah, untrue about 'blank' jerseys. If you print the jersey and leave numbering/names off, you're unable to apply these later on unless screen or rubber print is used (it is not).

The error probably originates from the Sixers as with most things.

I would imagine the jerseys were printed weeks ago, too. They haven't just made them now.

Also selling Cleveland jerseys, so it's pretty obvious they put the order in a couple months ago when both of them were still on the team

There's a few mistakes , perthworld I’m the first to lay blame on Sixers management if it can be called that , but the Nbl store also have 23-24 broekhoff and adnam for phoenix for sale , majok deng in cairns uniform , loe in breakers uniform , hyrum Harris in 36ers uniform and Todd blanchfield in wildcats uniform these are all 23/24 jerseys, it seems the work experience kid did the orders for the Nbl

these basics errors still make the Nbl look like a bush league at times

Fair enough.

Perhaps the league has an early deadline date for submission with their apparel provider?

I still find it looks weird when they have the version visible where a sponsor would be instead of the realigned version that looks more natural when you don't have a sponsor.

Also lament the car sticker Harvey Norman logo on Kings singlet.

Generally speaking not a fan of the singlets except for Cairns’ and the re-introduction of black as an alternate for Perth.

The amount of white singlets is disappointing and the designs where they abbreviate to Sixers or Melb or whatever and use an alternative font to their logo, like Tasmania is amateurish in my mind.

Gazee. Surely you are wrong about the bush league stuff.

I just read this on the NBL site......"The Hungry Jack's NBL’s reputation as the best basketball league outside of the NBA continues to grow"

That's the sort of exaggeration that I’d expect to see on a Real Estate board. What a laugh!!!!

Orders for these initial jerseys were placed in April. These were printed overseas and then shipped via boat to Australia. The lead times are fairly standard for the industry.

They also have a local printer that does the custom jerseys and can produce newer signings, sometimes these jerseys look a little different to the original stock and they can cost more.
