Depends on grading. A level 0 will get $7 or $8, depending where they ref, Level 1's get $8 or $9, Level 2's and above get $10. This is for ONE game. To make it worthwhile, you have to do at least 3games, or more.
Any more than this, or any extras, must meet strict guidelines (which they never tell other stadiums about of course! They just say they get this amount, not the conditions attached!)

My social games fees are something like $45 per team per game plus registration fees. Two refs per game. That is $90 a game, only $20-odd dollars going to refs.

That is pretty poor money. Have to do it for the love of the game, cos you could get better money than that at McDonalds.

XY, you obviously have didnĀ“t factor in other cost that are involved in a stadium. Is ther a person collecting the money, lighting, insurance and someone to program the games etc. You talk like the other $70 is profit. Referees can make about $50 a night for social doing 5 of the 7 games. $10.50 for 45 minute game is not bad for a youngster. This is why referees drop out of BASA (IMO), more money less time in social. Plus the tax dept treats it as a hobby. Just over a quarter of the money generated from social comps goes back to referees. (umpire in charge fees)
