Craig Moller… rumoured to United?

Cam Luke has retweeted some German basketball reporter (Rupert Fabig) who's saying Moller isn’t to return to Germany, but sign with Melbourne.

Fake news? Do United even have a spot for Moller? How much luxury tax are United spending for this roster?

Perth was the rumour I heard a month ago, coming back from injury, quality pick up.

United still have two spots left on their roster so could be legit.

Returning: Goulding, Ili, Newley, Hukporti (NS)

In: Lual-Acuil, Delly, Travers, Krebs, Cameron, Bowen, Loe (NRP)

Hukporti as a NS doesn't count towards the 11 man roster and Loe has been signed as a nominal replacement player likely for the injured JLA.

Looks like Southeast Melbourne

Browne/Ayre/Foxwell
Import/Kenyon/Stattmann
Te Rangi or Moller
Creek/Vague/Rapp
Williams/Gak/Rissetto

Need to hit on that last import.

Not sure how he would go under Rillie, should've played for Gleeson back in the day and imagine now if with Roth.

Yeah, he'd be excellent for the JJs, plus he played SEABL for the Chargers so has history in Hobart.

Has history with mike Kelly, might have swayed him.

Not convinced, looks too big. Be a very good pick up if true.

That's the local signing they needed. Now they need a high-level marksman at SG and the team looks good.

Williams/Gak
Creek/Te Rangi/Vague
Moller/Kenyon
Import/Foxwell
Browne/Ayre

Maybe a little susceptible to injury in the backcourt, we'll see if Foxwell and Ayre can build on what they did last season.

A very good signing then, hopefully he comes back from injury well. He can play the 3-4 and even the five if required, had an excellent season in Germany.

Going to be a very tough competition, breakers, kings, United looking the top three, the fight for the next placings will be savage.

Would be worth watching some tape of Te Rangi's recent years in the NBL. Has played plenty at PF. Multi-position player.

Moller didn't have an acl, it was some sort of break, if he gets through the preseason, he’s starting and finishing. SEM still not in the favourites capacity but this is a good piece, add a high scoring guard and should make finals.

I really like moller as a player but I'm not sure it works having two defensive specialist like him and kenyon in the same team that are both limited offensively!

Yup

Undersized!

Undersized in the backcourt, undersized at the forward spots, ok at Center...

Not a fan of this roster…

It does look like SEM ownership have tightened the purse strings a fair bit.

Don't think moller will be undersized in the three spot, or four spot for that matter. Vague also long.
