Melbourne United to buy the Melbourne Boomers

Heard on 1116 SEN Andrew Gaze has sources that Melbourne United will buy the WNBL's Melbourne Boomers team.

I feel this will be a great investment for both teams. I would love to see double headers in the future and the men and women both training at the one facility. Be great for the men and women. Hope this is true.

I do remember the United CEO interested in buying a WNBL franchise in our member lounge.

Joey Wright doesn't want to talk to Melbourne about Melbourne.
