Rocco Zikarsky signs with Brisbane Bullets as NS
Has he signed for the coming season? Or the season after?

He's super young and not eligible to declare for the NBA draft until 2025 so I'm guessing he is signed for the upcoming season and the following one or two.

Really interested to see how he goes, looks rawer than Scott Morrison curry but has plenty of upside. Physically needs to fill out and get stronger. Training with Aaron Baynes will help!

Doesn't add up with Baynes and Harrison already there. Clearly they were not confident in Siulepa being as dominsnt at the next level.

Baynes is only contracted for this year. They mightn't be expecting to have him next year so Zikarsky gets a year of development before getting more responsibility.

Zikarsky is 17. He won't play much first year but a year on the bench then nbl1 will be better the year after.
Unsure how many years Baynes has left too.

Smart move. Does this mean as alluded to in previous posts he was sent home from coe for discipline issues?

I think having him train with Baynes every day and be mentored by him is a great situation. Hopefully it works out.

This is interesting.
Rocco is raw and has plenty of work ahead of him to be a reasonable pro. A lot of trust being placed in Schueller to get him to the next level. Thought getting in to a respectable college program and honing his craft there would've been the best pathway. We'll see.

You don't get to bang with Banga every day in college!

This kid is only 16 what is the rush in an NBL team singing him now?
For those wondering what happened to former 36ers coach Marty Clarke he's coaching at the NBA Global Academy now.

17 in a few days and for those who don't think who will get courtime he would have gone to college then and Harrison injury prone so he will play IMO

He won't play much, if at all. Simply too raw for meaningful minutes.
Likely stayed home because of comfort level and getting paid something.
