Breakers sign Zylan Cheatham

Unconfirmed but Olgan Uluc is reporting that NZ have signed 6.5" SF/PF Zylan Cheatham as their first import signing for next season.

Listed as 201 cm on Bayern site, didn't play more than 18 games, reasonable stats. Jury is out on this signing if true.

Concerns me that none of the Breakers' top four front court players can't consistently stretch the floor.

In terms of Cleatham, of the last 5 seasons, having 2 seasons at above 40% and 2 seasons below 30% from 3 (including the most recent one) doesn't instill confidence.

He doesn't seem to have the offensive range of brantley but hopefully they make up for that with firepower imports 2 and 3 in which case he could keep defences honest with 10-13ppg

He's a different player to Brantley who was a very well rounded player. Cheatham looks more an athlete, with serious bounce, and has a bit of Justin Simon vibes about him. I think WMW will make Cheatham look very good. But the other imports need to be able to put points on the board.

Kolzee,

Can you please refrain from using the term "firepower" in future posts.

It's a trigger word for some of us fellow forum users.

Perhaps a magic pill could help you out with that?
