Good pick up, he'll fit in well with what the Breakers do IMO.

I thought Olgun is Josh Giddey's manager? Why is he working for ESPN/NBL again?

He is Moldovan's guy. He all the early info (sources) on all of his clients he reps like Mathiang. He wasn’t really Giddeys manager, just another extension of Moldovan.

Jonah Bolden may come out of retirement. His agent is also Daniel Moldovan.

NBL needs to address their salary cap. 1.8M isn't enough and heard the Breakers have the second lowest budget in the league. Japan, Europe will keep poaching NBL talent once we develop them to their liking.

It’s sad but will keep happening.

Article states none of last seasons imports are likely to return and Mody has a list of guys he likes to fill the void.

Breakers will find some decent imports, it's waiting game after summer league.

Brantley NBA, Brown Jnr Euroleague, Pardon Japan.

Of those 3, I think the NBL's threat to address is Japan.

If that Stuff article is anything to go by, the Breakers roster is going to look something like...

Mathiang / (Local)
(Import) / Vodanovich / Fotu
(Import) / Abercrombie
Rubstavicius (NS) / (Import) / Gliddon
WMW / Le'afa / McNaught (DP)

The key will be in the local 5 to either start or backup Mathiang. Dream would be Wetzell or Isaac Fotu but I dont see how Mathiang signed up to play 10-12mpg. If Mathiang is the starter, then perhaps Callum McRae, Tai Wynyard or Smith-Milner? None of them give me confidence though.

Suspect the import 4 will be expected to slide up to the 5 if the Breakers expect Mathiang to start. Foresee Abercrombie moving to the bench if another perimeter import is sought after.

It's official: https://www.nzbreakers.basketball/news/mangok-mathiang-signs-with-the-breakers-on-a-1-year-deal

It’s interesting that his stats are better than pardon in Israel. He’s been playing alongside Cleveland and had a monster game overnight. I feel like we never saw him play to expectation last season with the Hawks.

Overnight???? His team has been knocked out for while? Didn't make playoffs?. Is he playing elsewhere ?

Still a very good signing for breakers.

I think they'll play Rubstavicius mostly at SF and go for a high level SG import
