Would have been better to go to tas imo behind import pg, would have home crowd, home stadium, friends family. Would feel more comfortable plus roth focuses on defence, one of the weak links in his game.
Tas now with import, Adnam or Ayre, Macdonald and dp savage.

Depends on the rest of the roster.
Mennenga is not as athletic or mobile as Pinder and if they lose hoggs shooting, then tarans dishes means squat.

Reckon that's pretty close to the mark Weedy. Reckon they just go with MacDonald rather than Adnam though.

Roth said at last press conference they may give him a full roster spot now. Not sure the logic in that.

Is Doyle returning? Magnay struggling in Spain, McVeigh been great in Germany. They really need a 4/5 to allow McVeigh play thee three spot if no Doyle.

McVeigh will be at the 4, he can't defend 3s at near the level the JJs demand. They'll go for a similar style import to Doyle if he doesn't return.
He has agreed to a contract but it can't be official until he finishes in Turkey. Tassie are praying he doesn't get a too-good-to-refuse offer in the meantime.
