Nbl trading cards
Anyone know when they are supposed to be coming? I thought they'd be out by now. Maybe they are waiting for the season to finish?

Have been waiting for an update on retail product also, has been zero news.
Topps Now has been crap imo. $10 a card, no thanks.

Not happening this season, they tested the waters with Topps Now and sales were weak (even thou shipping cost more than the card prices) so they are relooking at next season now for a retail release.

Yep Topps Now was crap, ridiculously priced. Saved my money and was waiting for the retail release that never arrived.
Not sure what the real level of demand is out there for NBL cards but that Topps Now line with the price structure isn't a way to find out.

Using an overpriced digital release of basketball cards as a gauge of whether they should do actual physical cards sounds about right for the NBL brainstrust...
If they'd have just done physical cards even mid-season to make sure they had some actual photos of the players currently playing, they would have sold like hotcakes... This digital meshugaas is just stupid... Fans want the cards to collect and get signed by their favourite players... Player access is a huge benefit that the NBL can make the most of if done right to improve the fan engagement across the board, and this would be another great thing that they could have done fairly easily if thought out properly...
