Who plays D, United, unless sixers imports go ballistic offensively it's united to lose.

Going to be interesting style of game with both teams wanting to run up some numbers. If Adelaide can get a start like Brisbane did in that game against Cairns a few years ago that would certainly make things interesting.

Could not be closer 27 all in high quality game. Lee on two soft call fouls could be critical at games end.

Refs calling so much soft shit under bucket, but let hand checks go, why.

They really over ref basketball sometimes

Calling too much soft stuff. The stop- start nature of too many fouls makes the game less watchable

I get what they're trying to do. It's a fine line.

This is an old school shoot out. Good seeing shots fall but I don't like it. United needs to play better D to win

Disastrous play

Drmic outhustles everyone, gets the board, Lee with his 3rd and possibly concussed?

If United loses, that's the play we'll look back on and regret

Much like the Perth loss is the one game that put us in the position we're in today

Is there a worse 'significant' signing than Mccarron?

Dribbles around aimlessly, calls for pick and rolls and creates no advantage for his team or himself (as he can’t shoot).

Not to mention how out of shape he looks.

A good close half of ball. Copeland first question to Cleveland at 1/2 time. You came out shooting the ball really well. Was that the plan? Seriously that's the best crap you can come up with after a 57-56 first half.

Don't knock on DJ too much guys he might threaten to go to Japan, again.

Sixers really need to finally cut the cord with DJ, I don't even want to see him brought back as a bench player not that he would be happy with that anyway.

What happens if Melbourne win?

Perth have to win to make the play-in? And if they win, Melbourne is out?

Have only just tuned in to today, sorry if this has been discussed.

I'll be glad to see the back of him. Played like he thinks he's too good for this league all season he's crap defensively, his rebounding declined significantly from last season, he thinks he's some great 3pt shooter and he seems to think he's got handles constantly getting stripped or losing the ball.

I don't think he's a dumb player exactly just thinks he's a lot better than he actually is so plays too carelessly. Good luck with that in Siberia next season.

Epic finish that could be the difference!

My tip has been Perth by 10, so should be very close now

Great rebounding and great game by Tucker who, after pre season hype and slow start, is now deserving of being in the All NBL conversation

Whatever happens from here, its been a successful season by United. Playoffs or not. With the injuries they had, to finish with a winning record is a good effort

Basketball at its best, great game from both sides.
Sixers certainly don't need many tweaks to a very good side.
Get five and four man plus a point guard. Keep Cleveland and Clarke, let Franks go, major disappointment.
United should play finals but also need a point guard if Illi is out. There three imports should stay.

36ers have been mostly healthy all season, save for self-inflicted absence of an import for a month or two.

They've consistently played depleted or undermanned teams, and yet they come out of the season 13-15.

Inexcusable - they never played with effort, they played very little team ball and lots of iso. They were too good for defence, there was absolutely zero grit or determination. The heart was never there all season.

They took the piss out of the league, they acted like they should be called the Ferrari’s from the get go.

And yet from the very first game, Tassie obliterated them at home. They showed them how *basketball* is played. 36ers proceeded to ignore that lesson and play the same way all season expecting a different result.

The different result did not happen.

That Randall signing really showed the 36ers approach: go for talent over culture. Go for talent over balance. Go for talent over chemistry.

Sydney on the other hand play with both talent AND heart. They actually play like they like each other.
They built a nice balance between Walton, Vasiljevic, Simon, Cooks, Soures.

Can’t blame Bogut for trolling Adelaide, frankly, it’s deserved.

This off-season, I hope Adelaide do everything to make sure Cleveland does return, and then focus on smart culture guys who are also good guys.

Have you seen how the Ferrari F1 team went last season? They ended up sacking their Team Principal (aka "coach") and were comfortably beaten by the energy drink manufacturer...

Speaking of which a less-spoken about failure of the Sixers this season was the loss of mi goreng sponsorship.

Although they did pick up Fantastic Noodles.

What's with all the noodling in Adelaide?

Sorry, I had to.

Understood. I just found it amusing the Sixers have had two noodle companies as sponsors back-to-back.

Indomie are the mi goreng company who were previously sponsors, from Indonesia, so definitely not a Shahin brand.

KET, spot on with these two comments. Listening to Clark at the press conference, he sounds bought in and is friends with AC. Getting those two locked in would be a good start. They both play like they care.
