JJs v bullets 5.30 5/11/22

Hopefully Brisbane cont the good form of last two games, should be a good contest. JJs should still be to good in this one, unless Baynes smashes them inside which he hasn't shown so far.

Both sides missing shots, good game though, Brisbane doing good. Harrison looks a very good prospect in future years. 19/14 bullets.

Brisbane by 16 at halftime. Harrison and Froling been good together, bullets playing well, JJs missing shots and playing not JJs ball, silly mistakes, struggled on rebounding. Enjoyable game, to much talk from commentary.

But but but but the JJs are a great team with a great team culture.
Scott Roth should be the coach of the century.
Yawn, they are no different to anyone else.
When there 3s do not fall, like every other team, they turn to mud.
Thats all basketball has become.
On any given night, anyone can win because it all comes down to the luck of the 3 ball.
JJs 2-18 from 3.
But they can easily get lucky in the 2nd half.
If the 3s do not fall, just pack up and go home.

The JJs flew to NZ to play the Breakers on Sunday then to Perth to play the Wildcats on Thursday then back to Tassie to play the Bullets today. It's not surprising they are struggling. The Bullets are coming off a 9 day break.

Yes all sides get bad travel schedules though. Bullets by 9, JJs not out this by a long shot, possibly favourites coming home. Very enjoyable game so far.

Is Krebs the worst starter in the league? I'd say so.

Lowery - easily worst commentator. Astounding he keeps getting put on games.

Has Magette turned into one of the biggest whingers in the NBL. Has never committed a foul in his eyes, complains every time and then seems to think he is fouled on every possession. Great player but ...

While Krebs was bad today he's actually been pretty solid for the season.

Worst starter is Blanchfield and it’s not even close.

I realise that but that was not the point I was making. I can't remember seeing a travel schedule as bad as that over an 8 day period. The fact that Tassie came back and almost won is a great credit to them.

Good game,
Harrison turned down a few looks but was very good, certainly defensively. Brisbane need a three and D man and they would be very good.
JJs never beat, tough road trip but still nearly stole it. They just compete as a team.

Incredible home cooking late in the game tonight. Not enough though. Not much of a game, more turnovers than assists, a series of five-on-five grappling contests in the second half. For most of the night the stadium was pretty quiet which doesn't happen often, credit to the Bullets for shutting down most of the runs throughout the game. Ugly but Brissy won't care, a win is a win and they sure needed that!
