Unlikely, Vickerman hasn't been given much to work with here and they had two big unexpected losses late in the off-season with Delly & Jack White going to the NBA.

With all the drama concerning Wagstaff, why wasn't Tucker immediately ejected? Lined him up after the turnover, contact to the head and could have been really nasty. Did the refs even look at the replay? All the publicity about protecting the player and just an unsportsmanlike foul for a clear dirty intentional play.

Unless they were willing to buy their way out of trouble and it does appear the purse strings have been tightened, then it was likely going to be a transition type season for United after their core was decimated late.

Surprised Bayles pulled up as well as he did with how he went down. Orders of magnitude worse than Wagstaff's blind screen.

Hunter a far better prospect than Humphries. Humphries another media favourite that has played half a season at reasonable standard.

Not even that it was only about 1/3 of his first season of the Sixers, about 12 games of the 36 game season. We got virtually nothing out of him the rest of the 5/6 of his time with us.

Are United really utilising him properly? Most of the touches he gets seem to be low post feeds, which is not really his strength imo. Better facing up from the FT line and looking to attack from further out - spacing issues really not helping United here though.

Bit harsh on Humphries, United has zero spacing. They don't fees him enough down low, but when they do there's sometimes 3, 4 defenders within an arm or twos length. Giannis Antentekoumpo would struggle to score in that situation

United has too many guys that the defense can sag off

End of the day the roster composition isn't helping anyone play to their strengths

Humphries will be more effective from low or rolling on pick and rolls, or from high post, with good spacing and this team has none

Based on the post-game press conference sounds like Caroline is as good as gone. Looking at his performances in Italy and Israel, it seems strange that he's struggled so much here. Bullets might think about throwing him a flyer with 1 import spot free - as bad as the Bullets have looked at times, they have better spacing and I could see Caroline doing better in that situation.

I don't think any other teams would be interested in Caroline. Putting aside whatever he's done in other countries he just looks way out of his depth in the NBL.

Yeah I looked at his overseas stats and wondered the same. It's odd how badly he consistently struggles to finish at the rim, since that's obviously his preferred go to move

Not Harsh on Humphries at all, he's the next big 5 man, never stuck it out in US, kings nothing, Adelaide a little bit for short time, Melbourne not much. He comes across as a first class of person but his basketball so far, has been overrated.

With the right fit he'd be doing much better

If they're smart enough to replace Caroline with a stretch big to space the floor, I expect you'll see better

Got to feel sorry for any import in that situation. I think we forget that imports are in another country away from friends and family trying to make a living.

Dunkman - CG or DJ is better fit for what's needed for the team and the only way Cotton finds his way in the mix is by Goorj giving up Matisse, which I don't see very likely
