Prediction: Sotto starts over Johnson by end of season

I could definitely see Sotto starting for some marchups. How far he progresses this season could have a big impact on the Sixers finals chances. Another guy I could see working his way into the starting lineup is Dech. I'm not seeing what McCarron does to deserve starting ahead of him.

Webster is a lot better passer and defender then I thought. Really suprised with his playmaking ability. Travers was ok. Thomas looks like a scrappy type with a nice handle and passing ability. Jack of all trades

Kinda makes sense to start Sotto, block presence in the keyway over DJ and lob threat. Let DJ cook second units as your 6th MOTY scorer type. He will avg 12 off the bench.

But also on the above, I rate Sunday Dech really high but c'mon, you aren't starting him over McCaron.

Problem with Soto at defensive end, other teams will put him in on balls, as bad as folks think DJ is on de at moment his coverage is better.

Sotto played a great game in the NBL1 finals according to Bored (and drugged), DJ too.

Bored, what is it that you think McCarron brings over Dech? I would say he is a better ball-handler and playmaker, but he's hardly a standout in those two areas. Dech is a better all around scorer, especially from three based on his improvement last year and is a better defender too. I think the only reason to start McCarron atm is keeping Randall off-ball a bit more until he proves himself.

Probably did for now. Hoping that Randall will be a good enough creator to start Dech as the season wears on though. I feel more confident he will knock down the open three than Macca.

The problem with shooting 1/17 is that DJ was 4/8.

Adelaide need to make a concerted effort to give DJ the ball and make sure he doesn't go missing.
