Devondrick Walker is still training with Wildcats

I have seen a tonne of pics of Devondrick Walker training with the Wildcats- Am I safe to assume he will be the 3rd import once Bryce is naturalised?

Wouldn't that mean ditching a fully contracted local?

The Brisbane Bullets have rounded out their roster, with the signing of import Devondrick Walker.

Welp, this is awkward

Walker's isn't an NBL standard import he struggled at this level a few years ago when he played for SEM Phoenix.

Not surprised to see the Bullets cheap out on their last import after all the BS James Johnson hype from the NBL, there would be a canyon sized gulf in the differences in asking prices between those two options. The Lamar Patterson-era in the NBL finally comes to an end too.

So are people still putting Brisbane in the top 4 with this signing?

I don't think too many had the Bullets Top 4, I had them 5th but that was on the assumption they would re-sign Patterson I would rate them lower than that now with Walker.

If there big money players perform they could make 4 to 6, it's a big if imo.

Bullets could be anything, or nothing- Baynes and Johnson hold the keys

Great signing from a Wildcats perspective since they can't offer Walker a contract now. :D

Baynes, Johnson and Sobey hold the keys. They don't go anywhere unless Sobey is back near his best.

The ceiling and potential value of Baynes and Johnson is higher

But of course Sobey is important too. They certainly won't get anywhere if he plays 12 games like last year

Sobey will be the key to unlocking the potential value of Baynes and Johnson. He's the motor that drives the Bullets.
