Illawarra have signed Mangok Mathiang for one year. Presumably a replacement for Duop Reath bit of a gamble hasn't played professionally in almost two years, September 2020. Although this off-season has played four games for Casey in the NBL1 South.

Was doing excellent till injuries, big gamble, could pay off nicely. Hawks still short quality four and point guard.

Fantastic move by the Hawks to get a quality stretch-4. He looked really good during NBL1 games, and hope he has put his injuries behind him and succeeds in NBL.

Might be a good signing if they got him on the cheap due to injury history, that would leave spare cash for less risky Reath replacement and a bonus If he stays heathy
