Semi Finals: Hawks vs Kings, Game 1

I'd like to think hawks were a chance, all year I’ve said it’s Sydney. I don’t see this changing, Adams back makes kings nearly unbeatable and unbearable.

Kings by 12.

Tend to agree. The Hawks won't be able to shoot like that again. Sydney by 4.

Hard to predict until I know whether Chris Reid is officiating

I love Goorj but he's only got himself to blame. When you’re giving Cooenraad extended minutes somethings not right.

This was always on the cards, game over at the half.

What the NBL playoffs really need is more teams participating

The low baseline and sideline camera angles really need to just vanish from the coverage.

It's been pretty much inevitable since Sydney signed Clark that it was going to be a Melbourne vs Sydney GF

Jaylen Adams... the bloke can play. Take him out, and I think the teams are pretty well matched. Sydney v Melbourne.

Adams was the difference in the end

Looking forward to watching United's defense trying to stop Sydney's fire-power.

Adam's is the difference to winning championship.

If Sydney win Sunday, they will steam roll Melbourne.

No one can stop their run and stun game.

Mid-season form for XRM.

He's really hard to watch when playing selfish. Possibly harder than the camera angles.

Hawks need the unselfish version of his game that he showed over the last 3rd of the season.

Kings looked absolutely ordinary at season start when Adams was out injured, totally turned it around when he fronted up. I've tipped them ever since.
I’m looking forward to Melbourne v Sydney gf,best two in the end, can’t see United winning though.

I think the Semis are basically decided now. Cant really see Illawarra or Tasmania bouncing back. Sydney v Melbourne will be a great series - a high powered offense vs. a rugged defence. The two biggest cities in the country with traditional rivalries. There is something there for something great.

Couldn't think of a less interesting matchup as a neutral. Zero desire to see either team win the thing.

Sydney's depth really stood out

Clark, Maker, Glover all making an impact off the bench

Hawks don't have as much depth, and if they're to level the series they'll need more from Harvey. XRM too but especially Harvey.

Why we're there no replays of plays after calls at the venue? Poor decision.

The two best teams against each other doesn't interest you at all?

Each to their own I guess. I think it has potential to be a great series.
It's the semi finals that don't do much for me.
(not much for the United fans either, judging by the game 1 attendance)

Maybe what I needed was a "play-in tournament" to "shake things up"
:p

"Kings looked absolutely ordinary at season start when Adams was out injured, totally turned it around when he fronted up."

That's quite the myth. His first seven games they were 3-4. Ian Clark's first seven games were 7-0. Sydney 10-2 with Clark, 10-7 without him.

If I have zero desire to see either team win? No.

Whoever wins, we lose.

It's neither Adams, Clark individually

It's them together, 10-1

Makur's addition has helped too
