Phoenix vs Kings, Mar 19
Should be a great game, kings favourites and should win by 10 to 15.

Why does Phoenix even bother having Qi show on screens. It's like a giant ship trying to turn and by the time he recovers it's all over.

Refs got money on kings, 50/50 all kings way.

1. Adnam should've been called for a flop.
2. Wtf did Phoenix not foul? Dumb.

What was going on at the end. First Phoenix do not foul then Martin makes a free throw with 0.8 sec to let them have a chance to advance the ball.

That pass was pathetic. Down at his feet.

SEM had their chances there.
And should've fouled Adams.
Could've been a season defining win.
Still, might go 6-2 from here to finish 17-11. Still a chance.

Crowd figure of 2,717 on a Saturday night. Ouch.

Adnam early season form has gone, kings might lose in Perth next week but are favourites to win comp when back to full strength.
Phoenix very disappointing, team not as good as their reputation.

Fun game. SEM were underwhelming... did well to make a game of it. Creek and Adnam particularly pretty bad. Best game I have seen Te Rangi play, making some smart choices.

Peterjohn, tonight was opening night of BigV, along with round 1 of the AFL(not that there were games in Melb tonight), you are now competing against other forms of entertainment. WNBL had 1800 at SNAHC as well.

Thanks Anon. I figured there were reasons like that. My point is that such a low number for a high stakes game, on a peak crowd night, with finals implications, and Melb vs Syd rivalry, does not augur well for the rest of the NBL season. Surely?

SEM crowds have been consistently bad, not a good sign considering they have done reasonably well and are a top 5 team. O wonder how much (if any) the Creek factor plays into it.

Creek has no factor into the crowds. I think it will take SEM moving out of JCA into a 5000k stadium for a few years and build their base then return.
