well some tremendous games - plenty of OT.

Tommy Kuhse from St Marys can sure play. Was a key factor when they won v Gonzaga earlier as well - I really like his game - very composed at the point and can finish.

Wasn't Kentucky known as the Millionaires Factory because they produced so many drafted players? Maybe not this year.

The other team just had the belief - Kentucky were good enough to win it all but it wasn't their day.

Like Loyola Chicago last year

Kentucky has the talent but consistency is a problem in a program full of so many one-and-dones.

Saint Mary's had their chances but could not put the points on the board.

Isabel Palmer had a crack in Utah's opening round win.

Amy Atwell - 29 points for Hawaii!!!

Palmer has been a major dissapointment, some players get better and some get worse.

Eg

Up
Atwell +
Goodchild +
Shelley +

Same
Bibby
Amoore
Hurst

Down
Palmer -
Horvat -
Deegan -

Arizona v TCU game was a cracker of a game too - so many good, close games.

Not too many blow outs and plenty of upsets

what a perfect final 4 ! all 4 have been the benchmarks over the last few years.

The standard of the Elite 8 games was through the roof.

The title is wide open.

Duke vs. North Carolina being one of the two Final Four matchups in Coach K's penultimate or final game is amazing.

Yeah, a fitting end - to reach the 4 and to play North Carolina. I like Duke's chances in this one, too.

Duke is playing very good at present - but all the others are game on at present - the 2 Final 4 games will be blockbusters.

Wouldn't be surprised if they are better games than the final.

Hell of an accomplishment for Davis to make final in his 1st season. Although Tarheels are a big time program, expectations are always huge and was a big call going with a totally rookie head coach from within the family.
After such an amazing career, must be an especially bitter pill for Coach K to swallow losing to North Carolina in the final 4.

The Duke player who missed both free throws with 40 seconds to go and down only 1 will probably be blaming himself for the rest of his life.

That was such a tight contest!! I can't see NC beating Kansas, though.

as St Peters proved - if you have form / belief you can achieve - N Carolina carried late season form and from what I saw shot just that little bit better than Duke (haven't looked at stats yet as I was for Duke). A tough loss for the program but it will fuel them for a few seasons to come.

There will be so many NBA draft picks from this years Final 4 teams.

70,000 + crowd.

I often wonder how much it affects their perception of depth when perimeter shooting with such a large crowd and stadium.

4 great teams this year in this years final 4 - any team could have won.
