Cooks is a massive out for Sydney

Kings are so stacked that Cooks is a loss but won't make any difference. If Adams stays healthy no one is beating them. Adams is the key, top scorer, top passer, assists man.

Is Machado still not 100% or is he just not as good anymore? Only 31 but a few years ago he was one of the best, but now he is almost a liability.

@ SmallieBiggs. He's playing like his team does. They’re struggling. 10 team Comp with not enough players. Cut it to 8 for better games weekly. The standard of most games, skill wise is poor

@Jatz I hear you but do you think getting rid of Cairns and say NZ is really good for the league. Not saying your wrong but is an 8 team comp really a good look for the premier comp in Aus.

I thought Adelaide was the worst team in the league. It's actually Cairns.

Machado best year was with Newbill and Oliver, he wasn't relied on to score and just organise the team. Since then his team mates haven’t been as good.

Kings bench would be on more coin than Cairns starters. I’ve said before, kings got this season if they stay healthy.

@SmallieBiggs. Breakers 5 & 13. Taipans 4 & 11. 36ers 5 & 12. You're right about the look but if this it’s how it’s going to be seriously they need to find more money for the league. Theses guys get paid but realistically it’s hardly a professional league. A lot of guys wouldn’t get a game anywhere else in the world. How strong is this league supposed to be? A lot of games are close but not through good basketball. More the poor play. The league needs to get more $ in to help clubs. Players need to take some responsibility here too. Practice more & get better

Exactly, @Jatz, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth big budgets and it shows, SEM, hawks next level. You buy well, you can complete, you pay less it's a lot harder unless you get lucky with three good imports like Cairns did a few seasons ago.

Can someone pls explain why we got rid of Mike Kelly again!!
His first year he didn't pick the team & the results showed. he picked up waht was left on the FA market & they were average at best.

His second year he was coach of the year & one win off a GF appearance. beaten in 3 by eventual champion Perth.

He brings the band back together for a covid & stadium interupted year 3.
Looked like guys lacked motivation & couldn't find the rythym for some reason. I heard Cam Olivers wife was not happy which caused some drama.

Players were not happy with Mike, he wanted defence, as you can see nothing has changed, same players same attitude, yes was stupid sacking. Cairns need a clean out of players, don't have the money to attract much better though.

The tripe that Scotty dished up over the weekend was not import quality. Lets be honest, when the DPs came on they had a red hot crack at it and added energy. Time for Scotty to move on now and give players who want to be here a go.

Machado hasn't been import quality all year. Clearly just here to cash a cheque and go home. And the heel isn’t an excuse anymore. If he’s healthy enough to play he needs to do better.
