Who have McKinnon got this year? Running it back?

Sharif Black and Anthony Kimble as their imports. Both have been showing out all pre-season, they are going to be very hard to beat

If Kimble is a top 2 option for a team... that doesn't strike me as "hard to beat".

well they beat frankston and the way he played was a big part of it

Wins against NBL1 teams is or close games make no sense no NBL players are in line-ups and rarely imports. More interested in results between D1Men and SCM teams as we know from previous posts teams that went up in these leagues had question marks on them.

he goes into the bullets game, 4/4 10 points gets them the lead then 5 mins left they go back to the dinosaur and they loose... then he hardly plays in any games after that. poor coaching but doesn't it surprise any of you since they are a basket case of an organization anyway. they should release him so he can actually get an opportunity at a respectable club.

Was in Ballarat to scout teams for Div 1 Club, one thats west of melbourne :)
Watched the RMIT v Melb Uni neither team looked like they played their strongest line-up all weekend to be honest players missing.
Keysborough looked good but lacked Bench Depth, could say the same about Shepperton
Ballarat Youth had some really nice pieces playing well.
RMIT carrying on like Muppets didn't see, thought they looked like a good unit clearly (from the outside) looked like a bunch of guys who love to play together.
Wallan in the social division was a bit strange ?? Youth looked weak.

So RMIT won a tournament over 4 other div1 teams? Can't knock that. Maybe they are legit.

They played gf by default. We're schedule for bronze game but few forfeits and they got to play the last game of the day. Likely would have lost to same Ballarat youth with 2 nbl1 players squad they lost to on saturday
Results show lost to Ballarat and Keys

The D1 teams all there look like teams to beat for the division.

Not sure making the final by default makes you legit but you would put those teams in the mix for the play offs based on what was on show.
I didn't see the first set of games at the tournament so missed anything that happened.

Forfeits or not they won the championship game by 20+. That needs some respect

I'm thinking RMIT probably beat Bellarine pretty easily to start their D1 campaign. Then people can’t say RMIT isn’t the real deal

i think rmit wil be battling in that 4-8 range behind keys, mel uni, bellarine. those 3 are established with veterans and experience. that second tier will consist of shepparton, rmit, collingwood, bulleen and bulleen imo. i don't think they are ready to challenge for the top spots

They won against Melbourne Uni by more than 20 a few days ago

Sounds like you are in the know. Who were Melbourne missing?
I hear RMIT were missing key guys as well. Probs cancels each other out
