With Giddey off the floor, OKC are TERRIBLE. With Giddey on they are marginally better.

Thanks for the heads up RobT -have just put it on.

Dallas is up by 12 at the half, they look too big for OKC so far who need to get some ball movement happening.

Man Giddys passing is beautiful.

Not sure if it's confidence, form or shot selection but he tightens up his shooting he can be all star level..

Giddey needs some rebounds for the triple

12-8-14 now. They gave him the rebound after the buzzer.. with 4 steals

Yeah fairly generous rebound stat, can't do much where is at the moment.

Dallas have the answers when challenged.

Wiggins right next to Giddey, grabs the rebound. Crowd gasps.
Good fun. Other than the losing part of course.

The impact Giddey has on his team is remarkable. Well beyond what even the excellent stats suggest.

'Don't be fooled by NBA stats on a shit team v FIBA play. Fool's gold'

True, but you're not denying that Josh Giddey had a great game, are you? And as for FIBA, are you leaving him out of the Boomers? Course not. Try finding something positive to write about!

I agree that him being on a bad team makes his stats misleading.
Were he on a good team the assists tally could have been pushing 20.

On a good team he'd get less of the ball

On a good team he'd be an even bigger star. Have a look at the players he is ahead of with this record. Pretty good company if you ask me.

It is being said that on a good team, Josh would be shown up. By calling OKC a not-good team, when without SGA they just lose to Dallas, is it that Dallas is a not good team, too? Good team/bad team, he got the stats, he played the game.

Exactly right Rob T. With better players around him he would be an even better, more efficient player. Opposition teams are starting to double him more, he's getting good passes off, but his team mates can’t score. In a more talented team he will still get plenty of opportunity to shine.l hope that OKC can improve and grow with Josh or else he is likely to end up at a bigger market team. This wouldn’t be a bad thing, but I would rather he isn’t a journeyman.

Didn't say he had a bad game. Just said FIBA is different. Look at Giannis at the World Cup

That triple-double elevated Giddey back up to 5th on Hashtag's rookie ratings.

Out of interest, Evan Mobley, Scottie Barnes and Cade Cunningham are top-3 with a couple of points advantage over Franz Wagner who's just ahead of Josh. Still a long way to go this season but the top-3 also keep having great games, it seems.

Any-one interested or, who missed Giddey's triple-double game, it's on again today (05/1/2022) @ midday, on Viceland.

I might even watch it again to see if he can do it 2 games in a row!
