Not Patty's first Christmas game, I saw him at Oracle on Christmas Day when he was playing for Portland. This one a bit more noteworthy, though.
He is getting decent commentary in US media, I think. Lowe raised him as a strong 6th man of the year candidate and basically said the biggest thing standing in his way is possibly starting too many games. I don't think he's really in the most improved conversation because his baseline was pretty high, and it's hard to be an All-Star candidate next to guys as ball-dominant as Durant and Harden. And while it's great that he had a stellar game today, his averages aren't on par with guys like DeRozan, Lavine, Young, Ball, Butler, or many of the wings who could end up as 'back-court' options given ballot construction. If he produced a game like today every week, it would be a different story, though.
