Jack, you there? Perth v Brisbane Tonight!

Last game was the best!
This game will be ...?

Jack, desperate for your preview on this one, especially.

If not soon, some idiot like me will sprout all sorts of rubbish to start it off.

Can't see Cotton shooting that badly again or Bullets knocking down those massive 3s again.
Looking forward to seeing what Frazier can do.

Lol Craig, I see what you did there but I don't see Brisbane or their coach accepting the trash that Sydney offered last night.

How far off is Hodgson from a return ?

Well, I for one am looking forward to this one. Thought that Brisbane had no chance Sunday. Instead, they got 3 chances. 4th (5th or 6th?) chance tonight!

My tips are worth zero so I will just hope for another 'upset' for Perth (ie. Brisbane wins).

Naturally, Cotton is not going to let this one go but will his support be as good as last game? If they all fire, so be it. If Brisbane can all fire again, it'll be anyone's game!

The one thing that I feel may be in Brisbane's favour is that they, more than Perth, will feel that they something to prove (that beating Perth was no fluke!).

How far off is Hodgson from a return ?

Good question.
ScoMo was asked whether he'd play this game and he didn't rule it out completely.
I'm assuming he was just being intentionally vague but also hoping it means his return isn't too far away. We sure could use him. I don't think Wagstaff playing 30+ minutes was anywhere near our plans for this season.

Yeah this version of Perth is going to take some time to properly gel and run plays under a new coach.

Headbutt was mild, but it's still worthy of ejection. Name a sport where you can walk up to a guy and telegraph a headbutt and not get sent off? Immediate send off in the NRL for example

Found Dengs acting more ejection worthy out of being what has to be the worst attempt at acting in NBL history!

Why do that when you know any altercation is going to be reviewed? Worst attempt at deceiving refs ever lol

Vic Law didn't commit overly to that head-but, tech was inherent in the act, obviously, but wouldn’t eject tbh.

Can't be a tech on Law. A tech is behavioural. He made contact so it’s either a USF or DQ. Similar contact to Sobey v Prather in the GF series. A headbutt is a headbutt

Brisbane just not deep enough, they certainly look better than before season ratings.

Perth will play finals, will get better and strong bench.

Both coaches doing fine, jd looking better than lemanis at present.

Law very lucky to not to get disqualified foul, be interesting what the nbl do.

You're not a fan of endless White-Majok pick and rolls while everyone else stands and watches?

Pretty much every possession early was that same awful repetition of a pointless handoff up top, which nobody needs to guard because it's so far out, then a handoff on the wing, flash the big to the opposite elbow, swing the ball for a pick-and-roll there...everyone else just standing and watching.

Looked a lot better in the second half running that horns set with Cotton on the elbow and actually getting some things happening off the ball.

Perth Wildcats wing Vic Law has been cited by the NBL's Game Review Panel (GRP) for an incident involving Brisbane’s Deng Deng, which took place during the third quarter of Friday night’s game at RAC Arena.

Law and the club have 24 hours to provide a submission to the GRP for their consideration before deciding whether a charge will be laid.

Due to the time required to complete the process, Law will be available for tomorrow’s game against the Tasmania JackJumpers.

"Law and the club have 24 hours to provide a submission to the GRP for their consideration before deciding whether a charge will be laid."

Luuuc, Being Bris/Perth, Law turning his back on Bris to go to Perth, this issue involving said player, Law, reckon it's going to GRP! Anyone else, let it go!

I think it's fair enough.
The hilarious aftermath maybe distracts from the fact that it was still a borderline dirty action, so I think it's worth a review even if just to say hey you're right at the line - don't cross it.

I hope Deng Deng gets cited and misses games for flopping and bringing the game into disrepute, regardless of Law's punishment

Yeah, it's still a headbutt and I expect Law to cop a fine.

Really seems like the kind of guy who never would have got a jersey for the club a couple of years ago.
