Sixers sign Gattorna

Adelaide have signed 22yo West Australian Zac Gattorna to a DP spot on their roster.
Seems odd they haven't filled main roster yet.

It is a bit odd to be worrying about signing development players, especially a guy who has been training with the team for three years, when there are still two vacant spots on the 11 man roster to fill.

What happened to Bairstow that made him go from the NBA and the Boomers Olympic team in 2016 to not even getting a NBL gig? How did he fall off that badly?

Bairstow is almost as bad as Johnson defensively. I get that they need a back up big but they should be looking at signing an athletic defensive big to pair with DJ and Humphries. Still Bairstow would be way better than Sotto or Malou for the bench minutes.

He wouldn't be here if it was just for training fodder, any DP or squad member can provide that. He's clearly being looked at as a possible signing and the way John Casey was talking him right up along with old NBA & Boomers stuff being shown scares the hell out of me.
