Could be anywhere.
In or out of the NBA.

Esp with his most recent injury.

Would be great to see him in NBL while he can still play.
Adelaide have Humphries
Brisbane have Harrison and Salt
Illawarra have Reath and Froling
Melbourne have JLA and Hukporti
NZ have Wetzell
SEM have Hankins
Sydney have Jarrell Martin
Tassie have Magnay

That leaves
Perth with no starting centre .
Cairns have Jawai but could probably bring Baynes in too.

Delly and Baynes at United would be an awful idea, 2 super injury prone older guys, on second thoughts, yep go for it!

Would be good on a developing team. Come off bench and be that experienced guy. However, probably likely be at Cairns next year as that would close to home for him.

I think he picks up one more small contract somewhere as a 2nd or 2rd string big. Bit biased as a Mavs fan, but would love to get him in that team. Potentially, if they need to trade centers to land Dragic I could see a definite need.

I think Baynes will see another NBA contract somewhere where they need a back up big on a vet minimum.

@ Perth Fan, Martin plays as a four, was useless in the five, Hunter played five last season and back up was Kickett.

I think he picks up a gig somewhere as a situational role player for when teams have to go up against Embiid etc.

Pretty much what he would have got last year before the desperate Raptors overpaid him.

Haven't followed him closely, but had a career resurgence with Phoenix a couple seasons ago improving his range to 3. Can see him getting picked up by someone like Nets for insurance on the end of the bench. Probably would like to sign for contender for likely his final season. Can't see an NBL homecoming, but with Perth you never know.

did Aron fly back to the USA for medicals for a new nba contract?

Does insurance pay him out for the $7m contract that go cancelled?

His deal was non guaranteed for this season so he doesn't get anything.

He did have a good season shooting the 3 for Phoenix but looks like an outlier and he's come back to the mean. Also the good shooting in Phoenix hid the fact that he dropped off in a lot of other metrics which is understandable given his age and th way the game has changed so quickly for bigs

He be fantastic in Cairns, share time with Jawai. It will allow some good money to get a newbll type, 2/3.

Why would it allow good money for an import? Do you expect Baines at Cairns for free?
