Spain have to hope the US miss a lot of shots and put in a supreme defensive effort. Doesn't look like they are going to be able to put up enough points.

USA back within 6, but it's not looking good for the US.

Spain's height is worrying USA, can’t see USA missing so many shots down the stretch. Durant just warming up.

Good game. USA got this though.

Spain having some calls go against them as Durant steps up the energy at both ends.

Spain sh**ing the bed. Missed layups, turnovers - they need to calm down and run through their offence properly.

Rubio is doing everything he can, no-one else is stepping up. Very disappointed in Llull, fernandez, and m.gasol.

6 points is very do-able, but it feels like 20

Rubio keeping Spain alive...27p after 3q.

Too bad Simmons doesnt have the same work ethic as Rubio and is more interested in bling bling. If Rubio managed to develop 3pt and mid range, Simmons could at least work on his FT and midrange…

Rubio/Jimenez/Nunez
Abrines/Dominguez
Abalde/Sanchez

Clavier missing 3 easy layups and some horrible forced passes inside are screwing spain over on offence. Gasol should be sitting under the basket every offence should be their initial look. Use the size properly

USA just executing better in the second half is crushing Spain. Not sure how they keep getting away with some moving screens and dropped shoulders however.

Not sporting but ... I look forward to seeing Spain's #6 get flattened by some REAL contact. I’m sick of seeing his head and body flying everywhere whenever someone breathes on him.

Spain, too old and too slow. A scorer like Mirotic (only 30 years old) would have been very useful. Their offence was awful.
