NBL1 Central: Women's Power Rankings Round 13

1. (-) Southern Tigers - Comfortable win against the Junior NBL1 side. Could they go undefeated for the season?
2. (-) Sturt Sabres - Once again pushed all the way but kept their nose in front, guard rotation continue to make shots
3. (+1) Forestville Eagles - Tight between 3 - 5 but a more convincing showing from the Eagles this week pushes them up. Sam Simons leading the way.
4. (-1) South Adelaide Panthers - Minus Spencer were challenged by the Bearcats but a big 4th quarter from Thompson and vet McGreehan brought them back from behind with a 30-13 quarter.
5. (-) North Adelaide Rockets - Had their chances against the Sabres but couldn't quite get the stops when they needed them. Another POTW for Good with 25&23 against an undersized Sabres.
6. (-) Norwood Flames - Important win against the surging Mavs. Can replacement Coach McNamara bring the same energy as coach as she used to as a player at this level and push the Flames into the 5?
7. (+1) West Adelaide Bearcats - Quality effort against the Bearcats. Fejo continued her run of big games at The Shed with a 27pt 9reb performance. Just couldn't run with the Panthers in the 4th after an impressive 3 quarters.
8. (-1) Eastern Mavericks - Need to get some wins on this run. Finals out of reach.
9. (-) Woodville Warriors - Another side changing coaches, Winter again the leading options with a quality game from Whitmore in support.
10. (-) Central District Lions - Hopefully can put some money and effort into finding some experience to support the kids next year.

So does anyone know the story about the sackings. A few need to happen in men's league, but strange timing here.

Yaeger sits out the 4th with an ankle injury and Alex Wilson 25, 16 & 11 and Genna Anderson 23 & 8 lead the McNamara Flames to a win, Southern's first loss of the season.

Apparently DeMott was an absolute monster, not a very nice person according to players.

South Men continue to play Hulland outside with no inside presence.. generally all outside.. Hoppo not getting time even when out there is a solid contributor.. Guessing Petty will not be there next year

I think the ladder is pretty accurate Sothern & Sturt seem to be clearly the best teams.
