Perth v Brisbun Apr 23

Gee..... Perf were embarrassed last home game, so you don't really want to be Brisbane, who are travelling like a Ford Pinto. Still, they would be hoping for a flux capacitor to help their cause, only problem is trying to get to 88 miles per hour.

The Bullets in all sorts of trouble and while my kiss of death goes to Perf, spare a thought for the Sixers as they see the gap between them and the Bullets closing

I don't think a case in Melbourne is necessary to lock down Perth until you see another case in Perth.

Members text message from the wildcats

*BREAKING NEWS*
As per Premier McGowan's press conference this afternoon, tonight's game against the Brisbane Bullets will proceed as scheduled.

Under the current Covid-19 WA State Government restrictions, all spectators, 12 years of age and over, will be required to wear a mask.

Complimentary masks will be available upon entry for those who don't have them.

Go Wildcats!

Yes, but this dude caught it in the hotel (well.. that's the assumption atm) and then spread it to someone has was staying with after he'd finished in the hotel.
Then he flew to Melbs - which is where he was actually found to be positive.

You could even squeeze in going to the Wildcats game and still have enough time to escape the regional lockdown by driving to the countryside for the long weekend all within the 6pm-midnight window. It really is laughable.

I understand why they need to delay it: people are out, won't be aware of lockdown until news reaches them, may need to do a few things to prepare. But there's no way the rugby and NBL games should be going ahead with fans, that's laughable.

I'm a front line worker who's fully vaccinated against covid...still not going. This seems really dumb to be playing in front of a crowd.

The delay in lockdown is so people can be made aware of it and get things organised for the coming days. It's not to squeeze in a few more pints or watch the game. Stay home red army, think of your elderly family and friends.
