its a massive joke the "new" stats and results system they are using doesn't actually show any stats or results!

Seriously, what did you do during lockdown on job keeper when there was no competition? And by the way, with 64 points scored or was it 38 it must have been a cracking spectacle!

The stats are stuffed. The final scores have been manually updated for most, if not all games. Go into the box scores themselves and the player stats do not add up to the final scores. Multiple issues across NBL1 and Big V.

Hope they can fix it soon as everyone is just getting annoyed and frustrated.

Whoever made this decision at BV to change the program needs to have their job re-evaluated.

There needs to be some accountability somewhere. The completed software only produces 2 reports - it doesn't actually give you complete season stats for your team... even when it is working.

Nick Honey
Dean Anglin
Jeff Downes

So who is accountable and who will take ownership of issues.

There was an announcement for BigV round 2 from Dean Anglin referencing short term inconvenience.

Round 5 is now completed and there are still significant issues.

An email has been sent to clubs nearly every week requesting that coaches and players are to be instructed not to show frustration to bench officials or stats official. This is a joke.

There are numerous expectations placed on clubs to provide game day performance on an off the court in line with an elite competition. But Basketball Victoria have failed miserably.

These issues have not only made the level of product seem second rate, it has considerably increased the time and effort of teams preparing each week.

Is it a coincidence that the BV strategic plan was 2017-2020? It all makes sense as they actually have no plan at the moment.

CHargers get the W Vs Eltham Wildcats. Blowing a 17 point lead it came down to the last few possessions and with a 3 put in by the Wildcats the game tied up. Stewart called the time out and drew up a play. Perfectly executed the Chargers were up by 2 with Mines making a tough basket.
This from the NBL1 website.
"Eltham's last opportunity to take the game to overtime would ultimately go to Magbegor, who challenged White at the rim with 1.5 seconds left and was fouled.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, he would literally come up short from the free throw line, AIRBALLING the first attempt to seal the win for Hobart."

Be able to lead men with out losing them or being best mates

Roth had better be good or he'll be getting local pressure very quickly.

Roth better be good is the right answer. He could be the new Henry Conner.
His 1st pick is meh. He's always at Chargers games which is good but the talent there to go to NBL is poor. Equally there are a few Tassie kids there deserve a DP spot at least. Mines is a find and as an Aussie he deserves a spot straight away. Astute selection as always from Stewie.
Yes you are right and everyone knows that the players he may want are equally wanted by everyone else. I hope he explores players in other NBL1 sides rather than just the South. Make no mistake the locals will be on his arse and Brookhouse's as well if they fail to deliver. The Bloodlines idea is great to unite Tassie but all in all it's still a puff thing. Wins need to be on the board very quickly or they will become another SEM Phoenix. Pathetic.

Frankston smashed the Braves without a centre! They were missing Andersen & Trist (NBL) and Callum Barker has yet to suit up (will we even see him this season?). Stith is having a blinder.

Hadziomerovic may be another couple of weeks away from a return also.

The Blue's back court may well be the deepest in the comp. Lachie and Lucas Barker, together with Mcdonald (off the bench) are killing it.

Have now accounted for the B?raves twice this season - their only two losses. Perhaps long memories from 2019?

""Didntbrealise wallace was playing for Melbourne, nice to see her back. Keeley just killin it.

Melbourne kept that quiet, Wallace is in limited minutes, good to see her back on the court, just hope it lasts, and she stays healthy, bern a tough road the last four seasons for her

Both Froling and Maley rebound their own missed shots every game ( and they are the most prolific shot takers in their respective teams ) , hence the rebound counts being so high, especially Maley, shot 2 from 16 on the weekend, and she may seem a rebounding machine, but it's more like white line fever, takes her own players and the oppositions out and rarely gets pinged for it.

Some really good individual performances in multiple teams in the women’s comp, great to see.
Amy Oneil for Sandringham had a good game, though over shadowed by veteran O’Hea.
Rachel Antoniadou had a blinder for Nunawadding, she was every where, they had a great win , even without their big Davidson, who looked like she had a significant injury and was off in the first quarter.

Hats off to NBL1 their coverage so far has been outstanding when you consider how many games are actually being played now each weekend.

Game of the year tonight. #rd placed Supercats Vs 4th placed Chargers. The question is what NBL players will the Supercats bring with them. They are expected to add Ili and Jo Lual-Acuil, together with Isaac Turner and the already added George Blagojevic. Supercats favourites of course. Should be a cracker of a game.
