Alex Pledger to begin treatment following Cancer diagnosis.

https://nbl.com.au/news/pledger-begins-fight-following-colorectal-cancer-diagnosis

Went to the NBL website to check on schedule updates only to see this devastating news. Terrible, he is only 33.

I always respected what Pledger did as a Breaker.

Wishing him all the best in his recovery.

Good luck and wishing him the best. Caught early, this type of cancer can be treated easily and so I hope it's an early stage cancer.

It's always sad and surprising when someone as young and fit/healthy as this gets this kind of diagnosis. It's a reminder to us all to stay on top of our health and to head to the doctor if anything seems wrong. Definitely hoping he gets through this nice and quick.

All the best to the big fella but wow, is this the nicest that we have been as a Hoops collective? I'm impressed and looking forward to the big fella getting back in the court.

Is this why Sydney, Perth and Adelaide didn't sign him when their respective bigs were injured ?

Wishing the big fella a speedy recovery!

Breakers have definitely missed him this season, especially when C.Iverson has been in foul trouble.
